The Pacific Salmon Foundation, founded in 1987, is a federally incorporated non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of wild Pacific salmon and their natural habitats in British Columbia and the Yukon.  Operating independently from government, The Foundation facilitates dialogue and undertakes positive initiatives in support of Pacific salmon amongst all levels of government including First Nations; as well as industry, communities, individual volunteers and all fishing interests.

AFFTA — The American Fly Fishing Trade Association -is the sole trade organization for the fly-fishing industry. Our mission is to promote the sustained growth of the fly fishing industry. Their efforts are focused on achieving three strategic objectives: growing demand for fly-fishing products by attracting an ever expanding audience to the sport, promoting better business practices and professional development opportunities for members, and providing a clear, loud voice to elected officials and government agencies on issues ranging from the protection and rehabilitation of fly-fishing habitats to tax related issues important to the fly-fishing community.

The International Game Fish Association is a not-for-profit organization committed to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through science, education, rule making and record keeping.  The IGFA remains committed to the collection of historical information and artifacts related to the history of sport fishing.  To that end we would like to encourage individuals, organizations, and clubs to contribute materials of historical significance to the  E. K. Harry Library and to the Museum, where they will be secured and preserved for future generations and serve as reference material for researchers. Names of contributors will be acknowledged in the IGFA’s quarterly International Angler magazine and on the IGFA website, and may be featured in future articles about donors and donations.

Islander Reels has been manufacturing precision Center Pin, Fly and Mooching reels for over 20 years. Islander is a division of J.S. Foster Corporation in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. J.S. Foster Corporation is a precision production machine shop, using modern C.N.C. lathes and machining centers and employs over 50 people involved in various capacities of the operation of the company. Islander’s staff are directly involved in each phase of production from conceptual design to finishing touches, a process that has been improved at every level through comments and suggestions from pro and amateur fishers alike.
