Westcoast Resorts opened the doors of their first sport fishing lodge back in 1995.   At that time their business was based on the three simple things we shared with all of our guests; a love for outdoor adventure, the joy of entertaining close friends and an obsession with fishing in beautiful British Columbia. This became the foundation for the many extraordinary seasons to come.

August 27-30, 2017 – Westcoast Resorts Annual Couples & Winemakers Weekend

Casting for Recovery provides an opportunity for women whose lives have been profoundly affected by breast cancer to gather in a natural setting and address quality of life and survivorship issues with other women in similar circumstances.  They were founded on the principles that the natural world is a healing force and that breast cancer survivors deserve one weekend – free of charge and free of the stresses from medical treatment, home, or workplace – to experience something new and challenging in a beautiful, safe environment.

The Pacific Salmon Foundation, founded in 1987, is a federally incorporated non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of wild Pacific salmon and their natural habitats in British Columbia and the Yukon.  Operating independently from government, The Foundation facilitates dialogue and undertakes positive initiatives in support of Pacific salmon amongst all levels of government including First Nations; as well as industry, communities, individual volunteers and all fishing interests.

AFFTA — The American Fly Fishing Trade Association -is the sole trade organization for the fly-fishing industry. Our mission is to promote the sustained growth of the fly fishing industry. Their efforts are focused on achieving three strategic objectives: growing demand for fly-fishing products by attracting an ever expanding audience to the sport, promoting better business practices and professional development opportunities for members, and providing a clear, loud voice to elected officials and government agencies on issues ranging from the protection and rehabilitation of fly-fishing habitats to tax related issues important to the fly-fishing community.

The International Game Fish Association is a not-for-profit organization committed to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through science, education, rule making and record keeping.  The IGFA remains committed to the collection of historical information and artifacts related to the history of sport fishing.  To that end we would like to encourage individuals, organizations, and clubs to contribute materials of historical significance to the  E. K. Harry Library and to the Museum, where they will be secured and preserved for future generations and serve as reference material for researchers. Names of contributors will be acknowledged in the IGFA’s quarterly International Angler magazine and on the IGFA website, and may be featured in future articles about donors and donations.

Thirty-three years ago, I had a dream to move to Oregon, raise my family in the country, and build the finest fly rods I could!  Did that and still doing it!  I still get up each day excited to walk to the shop to build the next fly rod.  If you are looking for a new rod, I hope that rod will be an Anderson Custom Rod

Anderson Custom Rods are now found in most states and many countries and used by thousands of discriminating anglers.   I offer 31 different two-handed rods in three model lines on my own custom blanks, as well as numerous single-hand rods.

At Kiui, I wanted to make the lightest and highest performing Mountain Hunting clothing possible. I wanted to create a brand that stood for uncompromised quality, uncompromised performance, and where the whole process—the design and technology and sourcing, are shared with the consumer.  By selling direct online we could make the best products, keep the prices down and manage, to our standards, every aspect of the customer experience. So I started KUIU.
